Is cracking of concrete floors a problem that we as house owners should worry about?
Common belief amongst both house owners and other people are that concrete floors have a tendency to crack and this is one of the major reasons that the owners or the builders opt to go for other options leaving concrete floors. Some of the people do like the aesthetic look leaving the floors with stains that really could glamour up the house. If you decide to continue having a concrete floor and cracks do become a problem you could always use microscopic toppings to cover-up these cracks. As for the other options you could always use staining, stamping and stencilling.
Concrete floors could be cold aren’t they??
Yes. Concrete floors tend to be cold and at times even the ceramic tiles and even the stone flooring is cold. Note that concrete floors are less cold than the latter two. Concrete floors also have the capacity to absorb heat. If you can have the windows built in such a way that sunlight could fall to the floor that could make the concrete absorb the heat.
Others also say that concrete floors also could be dam but it is really not the case if the concrete floor is properly constructed. If the concrete is properly insulated when building your new home this will not be an issue continuing your life. It is then again your duty to hire proper personnel to insulate the concrete.
Concrete is nice when decorated, but aren’t they expensive?
Concrete flooring is comparatively cheaper to other options such as ceramic, stone flooring however you also require a talented personnel to get a good decorative concrete floor experience. Some of the talented personnel could replicate low priced decorative pieces as well. Concrete flooring is one of the options that is good for long-term usage and it is durable than most of the other cheaper and expensive options. It is also an advantageous that you never have to replace a damaged floor parts when you are using concrete floor as your flooring material.
