Tokyo Auto Show
The Tokyo Auto Show shapes the future of driving in Japan. The motor show is held at Tokyo Big Sight and has domestic car manufacturers in Japan upping their game as the hottest motor show spectacle is screened in autumn. According to recent statistics, a sale of 7.9 million cars was recorded in the United States whilst the sales in Japan were at 4.7 million. There were 42 debuts in Tokyo in 2015 with some of the latest trends and most anticipated reveals of the Tokyo auto show.

The Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition will have its 16th consecutive run in April 2016. The auto show of 2015 was held in a space of 350,000 square meters which combined 2,000 Chinese and foreign nationals that exhibited their latest reveals. These nationals came from 18 countries the world over. Vehicles on display amounted to 1,343 with 103 new energy vehicles and 47 concept cars. Auto Shanghai was established in 1985 and is one of the most professional motor shows in China. The show which was initially showcased on just 15,000 square meters has since expanded and is now the rising star in China’s automobile industry.
Frankfurt Motor Show
The Frankfurt Motor Show is an international motor show on a massive scale in the world. It is held once in two years and rotates with the Paris Motor Show. Held at Messe Exhibition Centre in Frankfurt, the show spreads across the large halls. The German Association of the automobile industry is the main organizer of the motor show and involves the Mercedes, BMW and Volkswagen. The 2015 motor show was held recently in September with new car launches, world record attempts, exciting announcements and cutting edge technology to push the automobile industry in Germany to the forefront. The ultimate battle is to become the world’s biggest auto show. Some of the super cars on display included the likes of Bentley Bentayga, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Woodward Dream Cruise
The Woodward Dream Cruise began as a small fundraiser in Ferndale, Michigan. In 1954, a 16 foot totem pole was carved and there were many locales, although the main attraction remained to be cars. Muscle cars, hot rods, convertibles, oversized tires, custom painted flames which turned it into one of the largest celebrations of classic cars the world has ever see. The show attracts nearly 1 million and 40,000 muscle cars, collectors, street rods, special interest vehicles and custom cars. It is held every year in August on the third Saturday of the month. The Dream Cruise is held on a 16 mile stretch and runs from 9AM to 9PM. There are no fees attached and anyone can participate in the show.
