From the airport to Negombo 13km
Overnight at Jetwing Beach
After picking you up from the airport, you will be transferred to Negombo, an established holiday destination on the west coast. Here you can take five after your journey, enjoy a sunset stroll on the beach and aclimatise to the wonderful heat of Sri Lanka!
Day 2 & 3
Negombo to Habarana 181km
Overnight at Cinnamon Lodge
Moving on from Negombo we will drive North for hotter climes, denser jungle, and the ancient cities which define modern day Sri Lanka. Here you will have 2 days to delve into the roots of Sri Lankan civilization. You will visit Dambulla where one of Sri Lanka’s most impressive cave temples stands, scale the heights of Sigiriya, explore the ruins of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s former capital and track wild elephants in Minneriya National park.
Day 4 & 5
Habarana to Kandy 98.5km
Overnight at Cinnamon Citadel
Today you will travel to Sri Lanka’s second largest city, Kandy, where you can take 2 days to fully explore the area. Kandy is a picturesque city surrounded by mountain ranges and lush green foliage. Here you can visit the Temple of the Tooth, the Botanical Gardens, explore the city of Kandy and soak up the sights and sounds of one of Sri Lanka’s most popular cities.
Day 6
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya 94.6km
Overnight at St. Andrews
You will take a luxury air conditioned carriage on the train to Nuwara Eliya, a vibrant green tea-coated area high up in the mountains often dubbed as Sri Lanka’s ‘little England’. The afternoon will be spent seeing the city and visiting a tea factory to learn about the production and cultivation of one of Sri Lanka’s main exports; tea.
Day 7
Nuwara Eliya to Ella 63.9km

In the morning you will wend your way towards Ella, a serenely calm and beautiful little hill station which offers some of the freshest air and quietest walks in Sri Lanka. Here can take a day to explore the many nature walks and falls in the area.
Day 8 & 9
Ella to Tissamaharama 95.7km
Overnight at Jetwing Yala
After spending the day exploring more little villages in Sri Lanka’s up country you will arrive in Yala, Sri Lanka’s second largest national park and the best place to spot leopards. You will have time here to do both an evening and early morning game drive.
Day 10 & 11
Tissamaharama to Tangalle 70.7km
Overnight at Coco Tangalle
Now for some time on the beach! Today you will travel to Tangalle, best known for its chilled out ambience and near-deserted unspoilt and stunning beaches. Spend two days relaxing, watching turtles struggle ashore at night to lay their eggs and explore the lesser known beaches of Sri Lanka’s deep sout.
Day 12 & 13
Tangalle to Galle 80.4km
Jetwing Lighthouse
Today you leave the picturesque shores of Tangalle for Galle, a place firmly on the map for anyone visiting the south. This lively city used to be the main trading port for Sri Lanka, and is nowadays considered the commercial epicentre of the South Coast.
Two days here gives you the opportunity to explore the are and spend time in Galle’s alluring Unawatuna Bay, a perfect spot for sundown cocktails, or for spending some time lapping up the sun on the golden sand.
Day 14
Galle to Airport 154km
Time to say good bye.
