This is one of the few 4 stars rated hotels in the capital with the largest landscape, 7 acres to be exact, its flagstone footpaths laden with flowers, lawns well trimmed and grass carefully tended, that you actually feel like you are in a park, rather than in an exhaustive urban area.
If you wish to conduct your business in peace and tranquillity, then you would definitely book Cinnamon Lakeside. A name it had derived due to the presence of calm green waters of Big Beira Lake, the main water way within Colombo that facilitates the city’s waste disposal and during rainy climate, directly contributes to flooding control as well.
TripAd reviews surpass one thousand marks, and all guests unanimously voice their favourable opinion on this hotel. There are very few complaints, and the management seems to have attended to the short comings then and there. Nearly all the reviews were answered by the CEO of the hotel himself.
The upper floors are voted as best because of least disturbance. Guests were particularly fond of the Deluxe Suites that commanded a view of Beira.
For dining, there are several restaurants with a variety of cuisines: Indian, Thai, Chinese, European and local, which were reviewed many times over by delighted visitors who happened to drop in. Negative feedback is at a minimum.
The spa is “awesome”, rooms “fabulous” and the pool “5-star” comments a level 6 reviewer in TripAd. What with the majority of people are saying down the web pages, it is entirely believable.
