The six rooms are unique, atmospheric and nicely designed, with warm parquet floors, air-conditioning, retro furnishings, big comfortable beds, built-in cupboards, satellite televisions and en-suite bathrooms with showers. The cheapest Standard Room is a small yet ample double on the first floor, though it costs just $10 (£7.50) more for the Explorer Room, which has a little garden terrace.
The best rooms are Traveller and Discoverer. Located above one another on the ground and first floors, they overlook the two pools, and are well-designed and spacious. Upper-floor Discoverer costs slightly more – while it has less interior space, its bathroom is bigger and it also has a bathtub.
