Sri Lanka’s debt continue to grow
Official data shows that Asian Development Bank and China have become the biggest contributors to Sri Lanka’s debt portfolio during the first four months of 2018.
Sri Lanka had received $ 512.12 million through bilateral and multilateral agreements of that the ADB has contributed $ 230 million.
China has given $ 91 million, Japan $ 55 million and the World Bank has given $ 49 million during the first four months of the year.
China has also signed projects worth $ 80 million.
